Luomus
Brief: A re-brand of the Finnish Natural History Museum: Luomus (meaning ‘creation’ in Finnish).
My design approach: This project was inspired by the idea of discovering past treasures. By combining hand drawn images and a vibrant colourful palette, I presented the museum’s knowledge as a precious resource to be treasured.
What I loved about this project: I loved the time spent selecting my colour palette. I was motivated to find colours that were a great combination of fresh/modern and reflected the richness of the historical treasures. Eventually landing on purple as a main colour.
